Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about apparel manufacturing, low MOQs, and quality control with Biwor Sourcing in Bangladesh.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+
Our standard MOQ starts at 500 pieces per style/colorway. We also welcome trial orders and smaller batches for emerging brands and startup collections on a case-by-case basis.
How long does the sampling process take?+
Proto/first samples take approximately 10 to 14 days. Size set and pre-production (PP) samples take 7 to 10 days once initial specs and fabrics are approved.
What payment terms do you accept?+
We accept Letter of Credit (L/C at sight) and Telegraphic Transfer (T/T, typically 30% advance deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading copy). Flexible terms are available for ongoing repeat programs.
Do you handle export documentation and shipping?+
Yes. We manage complete export documentation, customs clearance, and freight bookings out of Dhaka and Chittagong port under FOB, CFR, CIF, or DDP terms depending on your requirements.
Can international buyers visit the partner factories?+
Yes, absolutely. We organize and accompany buyers on complete factory tours, meeting schedules, sample room reviews, and local transportation in Dhaka.
Do you work with new, startup, or e-commerce brands?+
Yes. We specialize in helping emerging labels and DTC brands scale from small 500-unit trial orders into long-term commercial production runs.
Who owns the intellectual property (IP) of our designs?+
You own 100% of your designs and tech packs. We sign mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) before reviewing any artwork, ensuring your designs are never shared without written consent.
Can we appoint our own third-party QC inspector?+
Yes. You are welcome to deploy third-party inspection firms (e.g., SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas). Our merchandising team will coordinate directly with your appointed inspectors on-site.
What happens if goods fail quality inspection?+
We enforce strict AQL 2.5 standards. If an issue is detected during final inspection, shipments are halted immediately and reworked at the factory's expense. We never release sub-standard goods.
How do repeat orders work?+
Repeat programs benefit from faster turnaround times since patterns and fabric specs are already developed. We lock in factory production slots in advance and negotiate volume-based costing.
What tech pack formats do you accept?+
We accept tech packs in all major formats, including PDF, Excel, Illustrator (AI), CLO 3D, and Browzwear, as well as direct buyer PLM system exports.
Do you offer cut-and-sew, private label, or white label production?+
We offer all three models: custom cut-and-sew based on your unique patterns, private label collections adapted with your custom branding, and white-label fast-track garments.
Can you source organic cotton and recycled sustainable fabrics?+
Yes. We work with certified mills to supply GOTS-certified organic cotton, OEKO-TEX standard materials, BCI cotton, and GRS-certified recycled polyester, with full transaction certificates.
Are your manufacturing partners ethically compliant and audited?+
Yes. Our partner facilities hold recognized international certifications including BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, OEKO-TEX, and national building/fire safety compliances.
What apparel categories does Biwor Sourcing cover?+
We cover knitwear (t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, polo shirts), custom denim (jeans, jackets), sweaters (flat-knits 3G–14G), woven shirts, trousers, and kids' apparel.
